while still working on reading comprehension
"Que Fais-Tu" is a youth collection of serious games in gamebook format. Its goal is to meet several needs:
The "Que Fais-Tu?" charter-label defines the commitments behind every story in the collection, both to guide writers and reassure parents.
It guarantees interactive, thoughtful stories without ideological ambiguity, designed for children aged 7 to 14.
Each adventure follows a caring framework that nurtures autonomy, logic and the pleasure of reading without disturbing emotional or cultural reference points.

Bringing together the worlds of fiction, play and knowledge assessment is a real challenge. For the youngest children (-9), during read-aloud sessions, I advise parents to play the characters' dialogue and let the child speak the Hero's lines. The point of adventures where you are the Hero is precisely that the reader is drawn into the story: they play the story. It also makes it possible to see how the child answers the questions. For the others (9+), the goal is to make them want to read and take responsibility for choices, a gentle learning experience through fiction.

You are Leon Citron, the star chameleon of the Geneva Botanical Garden. Suddenly, the greenhouse turns cold. You have to act fast.
You are Croustignotte, a talented young marmot. Your burrow stands at the top of a mountain pasture in Savoie, surrounded by larch trees. Something happened this spring morning: the return of the "Whistling Phantom", a terrifying sound echoing across the valley. A mystery to solve?
You are Tibigniou, an elf from the Spring Forest. You are about as tall as five and a half apples, which actually makes you a rather tall elf. You wear a small green hat and a slightly lighter green tunic. Your special talent is hiding. You are light, agile and silent: perfectly invisible whenever you want to be.
Speedy Mosk - The Quest for Rich Blood
You are Speedy Mosk, the most agile mosquito at the White Horse campsite in the Camargue. You are a proper big mosquito, not one of those skinny tiger mosquitoes. You bite for sport: you are an athlete, a hunter. The campsite has just opened, the first tourists are arriving, and they have decided to wage war on mosquitoes. You need to be clever, fast.
Mordicus - The Glowing Algae
You are Mordicus, a young red-bellied piranha. Since yesterday, the water in your tropical river has tasted awful. It stings your gills and your mouth. You may have to leave. Can you solve this mystery?
Yoyo - The Missing Kibble
You are Yoyo, a little cat peacefully lounging on the sofa. Suddenly, you hear a noise in the kitchen, near your bowl of kibble.
